Horse Riding
A number of equestrian centres are located close to Killorglin
offering pony trekking along the strand or hilly terrain. For Horse
racing Listowel Races is close by.
Walking
Killorglin and its surrounding areas offers a wide variety of walking
routes including walks along the seashore, The Kerry way Walking Route
end the ascent of Ireland's highest mountain- Carrantouhill.
Angling
Killorglin is situated on the River Laune which boasts excellent
salmon and brown trout fishing from the Killarney lakes. Guests can
enjoy fishing from their own balcony
Rossbeigh Beach
Rossbeigh Beach is a major attraction for visitors to Killorglin. It
stretches for 7km of golden sandy blue flag beach and is perfect for
swimming, windsurfing, sailing, horse-trekking, fishing and many other
water sports.
Cappanalea
Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre is based at Caragh Lake in
Killorglin, offers fantastic courses for all ages especially families
from beginner to advance. Activities include canoeing, orienteering,
sailing, hill walking, windsurfing, rock climbing and much more.
Entertainment
Killorglin boasts a number of very fine restaurants, with good bar
food available in a number of pubs to Nicks Restaurant renowned for its
seafood and listed in all the good food guides. You will be
entertained with live music nightly at both Nicks and The Fishery and
most weekends at the various pubs.
Killorglin Sports and Leisure Club
Killorglin sports and Leisure Club is a large ulti purpose community
centre for all the family. Facilities include: Sports Hall, Squash and
Racket Ball Courts, Health and Leisure Sutie, Summer and Easter Camps
for all age groups and Children's Club.
Fishing
The River Laune is one of the best Salmon, white and brown trout
fishing rivers in Ireland. Our Guests have exclusive private fishing
on the property. Other fishing trips can be arranged. please inquire.
Tourist Information
The Tourist Information Office is located in Upr. Bridge Street. A
Tourist Information Kiosk is located on the left hand side of the main
street leading to the Town Square.

Golf
Killorglin has its own 18 hole golf course. Dooks Golf Club with
spectacular views over Dingle Bay. The town is an ideal base for a
golfing holiday as the famous Kerry courses of Ballybunion, Tralee,
Waterville, Ring of Kerry, Beaufort and Killarney are all within
driving distance.
Cycling
Killorglin is very popular with cyclists and bikes are available for
hire locally.
Ring of Kerry
Killorglin is located at the gateway to the world famous scenic drive
of the Ring of Kerry which takes you through such quaint and
picturesque towns as Glenbeigh, Caherciveen, Waterville, Sneem,
